Proposal of Communication Plan

The main goal of this thesis is to draw up a communication plan of the Pavilion Anthropos. The main questions and methods are specified in the introduction of the thesis. The theoretical part includes necessary definitions and deals with communication tools. The practical part introduces the Pavilion Anthropos and plan of exhibitions for 2010. The concrete activities of the communication plan are then set thanks to acquired information. Further work includes the drafting of a new graphic design web site. The conclusion resumes some of the findings.

The Animation of Culture in Education

Diplomová práce Animace kultury ve výchově a vzdělávání/ The Animation of Culture in Education Vypracovala: Kristýna Cihlářová 2011, KPED FFUK Abstract Nowadays, various cultural institutions realize their strategies of opening cultural services and the arts to the public. These strategies include the conception of educational programmes, particularly animation programmes for schools. The diploma thesis gives a definition of the animation of culture, its position and function in education. It focuses on a concrete type of an educational programme; an animation programme for the 1st and 2nd grade of basic school held in various types of cultural institutions. The thesis analyses the creation and realization of the animation programme from two perspectives; a theoretical and a practical one; by means of interviews with contemporary authors of animation programmes as well as by means of observation of the programmes. The two perspectives represent the confrontation of the ideal and real state of the issue. The conclusion offers practical recommendations in response to the articulated problems during the creation and realization of the programme. Genesis of film festival

The intention of this bachelor degree essay is to characterize film festival as a culturologic subject which is worthy of the academic attention. The essay is consisted of the theoretical and the practical part. Film festival is seen from a culturological pespective as institucion which provide a lot of different functions. The basic terms which goes through the whole essay are explained in the opening chapter. There is also implied use of this interdisciplinar cultural phenomenon. The history of FF is the main topic of the second chapter. The chapter shows changing of the FF function through the time from the presentation of the countries placed in euro-american region to its inovative function. The third chapter presents already published film festival theories and shows how to process the theme of the FF with collaboration of academic fields as the social and cultural anthropology, psychology and sociology. The core of this bachelor degree essay is the fourth chapter which contains research of the film festival event and its changes and growth in time. The role of the Western media in counterbalancing the revolutionary potential of the OWS and Los Indignados

Anti-hegemonic social movements have historically had a complicated and conflicting relationship with mainstream media, as it consistently undermines the emancipatory potential of these grassroots revolutionary movements, hence serving the interests of the dominant social forces of the hegemonic order. This work develops a comprehensive and critical analysis of the agency of mainstream media throughout the coverage of Occupy Wall Street (OWS) to understand how and why it consciously and relentlessly worked to neutralize the true dimension of the movement and its occupations, and thus to preserve the neoliberal capitalist world order from the ideological threat and the revolutionary challenge that OWS posed to it. Legacy of Adalbert Stifter in his home region

1 Abstract The topic of this thesis, "The legacy of Adalbert Stifter in his home region", is focusing on Adalbert Stifter, a novelist writing in the German language, and native of Horní Planá. While the story of his life will not be overlooked, this thesis concentrates mainly on his legacy, related to his home region. The purpose of this thesis is to map all monuments of Stifter's life, and the cultural projects linked to this gifted writer, that were realised in his home region. The following text is split into five chapters. The first chapter describes the life and work of Adalbert Stifter. The second chapter is focused on the Czech translations of his works. The third chapter shows how Adalbert Stifter's heritage can help develop the Czech-German relationship. Funding options for cultural events and institutions in the town of Písek

The thesis aims to analyze the current stage of the funding options for cultural events in the town of Písek. The theoretical part comprises basic information on the Structural funds, the budget of the European Union and the budget of Czech Republic. This part features basic concepts of structural policy, regional policy and regional development, analysis of program documents and funding options of cultural events and institutions. The practical part of the bachelor thesis focuses on assessing and describing the current stage of the funding options for cultural events in this town. The last part describes three cultural institutions in terms of drawing funds from the European Union, the state and private resources. It also contains some options for the development and innovation of these three cultural institutions.
